Tropical Escape > Overview
Tropical Escape is built in a Spanish style, painted white with terra cotta tiles
and wide arches. Just across the road is the beautiful white sand beach of Paynes
Bay, St James, the famed west coast of Barbados.
Tropical Escape is a wonderful location for couples looking for a very relaxing
holiday and welcoming to singles and families too. The staff treat the guests as
friends, which gives a very happy environment.
The hotel's 52 rooms are spacious and all have a balcony or patio. The interior
decor is modern and stylish.
The elegant entrance opens into a spacious reception area. Straight
on through reception, up a few stairs and you come out by the pool, surrounded by
a large sundeck with tropical plants and the pool bar. The bedrooms are on the upper
two floors of the hotel - access by stairs only.
Two minutes over the road and you are on a lovely stretch of deep, sandy beach – there is safe swimming here. The hotel is located on the West Coast in St James parish, about 45 minutes
from Grantley Adams Airport, 15 minutes from Bridgetown and 5 minutes from Holetown.
